Great Plains Technology Center Foundation Announces the Mandy Minietta Memorial Scholarship to Support Future Nurses
Lawton, OK, May 30, 2024 – In collaboration with the Minietta Family, the Great Plains Technology Center Foundation is proud to announce the establishment of the Mandy Minietta Memorial Scholarship. This new scholarship honors the legacy of Mandy Minietta, a devoted nurse whose career and compassion left a lasting mark on the community.
Mandy Minietta graduated from the Great Plains Area Vocational-Technical School in 1980 after completing her practical nursing studies. She dedicated 22 years to the nursing profession, serving at Southwestern Hospital, in private practice, and spending over a decade at the AM PM Clinic. Throughout her career, Mandy exemplified the values of empathy, dedication, and care, treating each patient with the utmost kindness and professionalism.
The Minietta Family has chosen to honor Mandy’s memory and legacy by establishing the Mandy Minietta Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship will provide financial support to aspiring nurses, ensuring that Mandy’s passion for caregiving continues to inspire and uplift the nursing community.
